Presenting Art for Heart 2017
Twelve curated Polish artists gather to raise money benefiting
Gift from the Heart Foundation and the Polish Museum of America
About Art for Heart
In 2011, Gift from the Heart Foundation (Dar Serca) in partnership with the Polish Museum of America debuted Art for Heart, a weekend-long art fundraiser celebrating Polish and Polish-American artists while benefitting both foundations.
That weekend, the exhibit attracted over 500 guests to the Polish Museum of America to view the artwork of more than a dozen local artists, sample great food and drink, and support the children of Gift from the Heart Foundation. Guests also had the opportunity to view the museum's extensive collection relating to Polish and Polish-American history.
Art for Heart is again proud to present Chicago’s talented Polish and Polish-American artists and share their artwork with the community. This year the exhibit runs from September 9th through 30th with the exciting Opening Night Gala on September 9th!
Opening Night Gala
The Opening Night Gala kicks off the show on Saturday, September 9th from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Enjoy wonderful art and an opportunity to meet the artists, excellent Polish food, a cash bar, and music by DJ MC Mietek Entertainment.
Please visit the Event Details page for complete schedule and ticket information. All original artwork, as well as less expensive prints, will be available for sale. All profits raised during the event are evenly divided to benefit Gift from the Heart Foundation (50%) and the Polish Museum of America (50%).
